In observance of the New Year’s Day holiday, all Douglas County offices will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, for normal business. Many County services are available 24/7 on our online services page.
Nov. 7 UPDATE: Tonight’s COSAC sub-committee meeting has been canceled due to forecasted inclement weather.
The COSAC sub-committee will be reviewing the 2025 Open Space & Natural Resources budget requests along with COSAC scorecard review and compilation for the Board of County Commissioners. This meeting will be held in person only at the Philip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, Castle Rock in the Engineering Inspection Garden Level Conference Room.
