Older adults have high rates of late-onset mental health challenges, like anxiety and depression, and low rates of identification and treatment. Whether you need to assist today or years from now, this certification gives you the confidence you need to have the conversations that will allow older adults to live as comfortably as possible. Date/time: Monday, Jan. 26 & Tuesday, Jan. 27, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. This is an 8-hour in-person class, split over two mornings.
The class is cost-free. A day pass is required for attendance at the Highlands Ranch Senior Center, which can be purchased upon entry. The cost is $2.50 for Highlands Ranch residents or $3.00 for non-residents.
