Generally, these parks include picnic areas, multi-purpose playfields, playground areas and more specialized amenities, such as sand volleyball or hard-surfaced courts
Enjoy viewing wildlife habitats and natural resources in our public access properties, trails (don’t forget trail etiquette), historic sites, and scenic views. All while preserving Douglas County’s rural heritage and providing various compatible outdoor recreation and educational opportunities. We also offer special event/use permits for our open space properties.
