Your Board of Douglas County Commissioners is listening and wants to make sure you’re informed and prepared for the June 24 Special Election in Douglas County.
During a public meeting in March, Commissioners adopted a resolution to ask voters whether or not to transition from a statutory form of government to a Home Rule Charter. This initiated a nine-step process that includes gathering public input and making sure voters know where to find reliable, accurate information before making their decision.
