Organizations focused on opioid and substance use disorder prevention, intervention, treatment, recovery, or harm reduction are encouraged to apply for emergency grant funding offered by the Douglas County Opioid Council and the Douglas County Community Foundation.

The Douglas County Opioid Council Emergency Fund is designed to support organizations experiencing financial hardship, such as budget shortfalls, delays in funding, or increased demand for services.

To qualify, organizations must demonstrate that their primary mission, or a significant part of their work, focuses on preventing and treating opioid and substance use disorder within Douglas County.

A total of $400,000 in grant funding is available, with individual grant awards ranging from $20,000 to $100,000. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
