Did you know that in Colorado, most full-service Driver License Offices are operated by the state? These state Driver License Offices are run independently from county motor vehicle offices.
The Colorado Driver Resource Center website provides step-by-step instructions on completing your driver license service online or scheduling an appointment at one of the state’s 36 Driver License Office locations.
As an added convenience, some county Motor Vehicle Offices also offer driver license services. In Douglas County, limited driver license services are available by appointment only at the Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch Motor Vehicle Offices. Visit DouglasDrives.com for a list of the limited services available and to schedule an appointment.
Please note that no driver license service is currently available at the Lone Tree Motor Vehicle Office.
If there are no openings when trying to schedule an appointment at a state Driver License Office or the Castle Rock or Highlands Ranch Motor Vehicle offices, please try again later, as appointments may become available throughout the day.
