Volunteers will receive a thank-you gift for their time. For more information on these various projects and to sign up, visit our Dougnad webpage.

What is Dougnad?

“Dugnad” is a custom of communal work in Norway that dates back centuries. Today, dugnad has come to mean unpaid voluntary work done in a group for local, national or international causes. This historic tradition exemplifies our community’s heart of service and a spirit of community.
