4-H Ambassador Wesley Watts inducted into the Douglas County Hall of Fame for his work to help the 4-H and autism communities

What does it mean to be an ambassador? For Wesley Watts, it goes far beyond being a representative of 4-H, which the 2025 high school grad has been an active part of since he was 8. For Wesley, it’s also about living an example of the values he was raised with, to work hard, be a good friend and family member and to lead with kindness and love.
Wesley credits the 4-H program and his years of raising chickens, goats and horses, along with rocketry, filmmaking and shooting sports, with helping him to grow as a leader and a person who passes on the lessons of 4-H to up-and-coming youth – including his three younger siblings.
Watch this video to learn about Wesley’s 4-H journey and how his years in the program have also helped him become a powerful ambassador for the autistic community.
