What does it mean to age well in Douglas County?

As our aging population grows, we want to better support the needs of our residents so that you can stay independent and thriving in Douglas County all the way into the golden years.

In 2023, you told us what you needed to age well in Douglas County. Four priorities emerged: housing, in-home services, access to information and transportation.

In 2024, we hit the road again with an update and to further understand what you think about proposed action steps within those priority areas, then discussed findings and actions steps during a Live Town Hall.
