Douglas County has an expedited permit process for one-time, or seasonal, events such as fall festivals, concerts, or carnivals to occur on large rural properties and in the Town of Sedalia. The intent of the process is to allow property owners to hold such events while ensuring that basic life safety requirements are met and that neighbors are provided notice and an opportunity to comment. Section 22B, Entertainment Events, of the Zoning Resolution sets forth the standards, submittal requirements, and process steps for such events.
