Watch Douglas County Elected Officials take the Oath of Office live Jan. 10

Join us at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, for one of Douglas County’s first official actions of the new year. Eighteenth Judicial District Court Judge, Theresa Slade, will administer the oath of office for your re-elected Commissioner and newly elected Assessor, Clerk and Recorder, Coroner, Sheriff, and Surveyor, live on Douglas County’s YouTube channel.

The ceremony will also recognize the second term of re-elected Treasurer Dave Gill who took the oath of office on Dec. 30, 2022.

The formal proceedings will be held in the Board of County Commissioner’s Hearing Room in the Philip S. Miller Building, 100 Third St., in Downtown Castle Rock beginning promptly at 12:30 p.m.

The swearing-in ceremony will also be recorded and available for later viewing on the County’s YouTube Channel.
