Do you have plans to take eastbound C-470 to US 85 (Santa Fe Drive) next weekend? If so, please read this update.
A full closure of the eastbound C-470 off-ramp to US 85 (Santa Fe Drive) is scheduled to occur from 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, until 6 a.m., Monday, Dec. 12, for ramp reconstruction while crews relocate an underground water line that provides drinking water to the City of Englewood. This work is occurring in coordination with the US 85 widening and reconstruction project from Highlands Ranch Parkway to north of C-470.
Please give yourself extra time and pay attention to posted speed limits and signage.
Detour Routes
To access northbound US 85: Continue eastbound on C-470 and exit on Lucent Boulevard (Exit 18). Turn left onto County Line Road, and then turn right on northbound US 85.
To access southbound US 85: Continue eastbound on C-470 and exit on Lucent Boulevard (Exit 18). Use the westbound C-470 on-ramp to circle back to the US 85 (Exit 16) off-ramp to turn left onto southbound US 85.
Expect additional intermittent overnight ramp impacts from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed. Please watch for crews, heed the speed limit, and avoid distracted driving in the work zone. This work is weather-dependent. If weather delays this work, it will be rescheduled to Dec. 15-19.
