Weigh in on the future of access along Parker Road

CDOT, Castle Rock, Douglas County and Parker want your feedback

Is your home or business located off Parker Road on the eastern side of Douglas County? Provide your feedback about access along this corridor now and in the future.

There are 163 access points along Parker Road (CO 83) from the Arapahoe/Douglas County Line to Russellville Road near Franktown. It’s important to keep traffic moving while providing efficient access to residences and businesses along this busy and growing corridor.

The Colorado Department of Transportation, Douglas County, Town of Castle Rock and Town of Parker are working together on updating a plan to maintain access and accommodate growth.

We want to know what access is like for you. Are there locations where you find access challenging? Have you observed crashes or near-misses at certain intersections or driveways? Get detailed background via an online platform and then use this comment form to provide your thoughts through Nov 4.

With your feedback, CDOT, Douglas County, Castle Rock and Parker will update an existing plan, called an Access Control Plan, that will help guide decision-making related to road projects and development projects in the future. The goal is to provide safe, effective and efficient travel on CO 83.

Learn more about the development of this plan on the project’s webpage.
