A SIP process is required for any use, or change in use, for any multi-family dwelling; mobile home park; business, commercial or industrial development; any use by special review; library; utility major facility; utility service facility; cell site; or for similar uses contained within a Planned Development, including single-family attached dwellings.
The Douglas County Zoning Resolution specifies uses within each zone district that are subject to the Use by Special Review process. These uses are also listed in Section 2107 of the Zoning Resolution.
