If you are applying for a marriage license, first-time passport, or recording home and property documents, please be aware that the Douglas County Recording Office reopens at its permanent location of 301 Wilcox Street, Castle Rock, on Wednesday, May 21.
The Recording Office was temporarily relocated beginning in January so the permanent location could undergo necessary renovations. The completion of the project is two weeks ahead of schedule, and the updated office provides expanded customer service windows and an enhanced public research area.
