Winter Driving Safety

If you have to be on the roads in Douglas County in winter weather, let’s work together to keep everyone safe.
Please:
❄ Give plow equipment adequate room to work
❄ Do not drive within a plow operator’s blind spot
❄ Never pass a plow engaged in snow removal
❄ When driving, there are three actions you do most: accelerate, turn and break. During winter weather, you should only do one of those actions at a time
