In observance of the New Year’s Day holiday, all Douglas County offices will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, for normal business. Many County services are available 24/7 on our online services page.
The Planning Commission (PC) will hold their regularly scheduled public meetings in the Douglas County Hearing Room, located at 100 Third St. in Castle Rock, as well as remotely via Webex events.
