Application Services

The Application Services Division designs, implements, and maintains Douglas County’s business software applications in alignment with our strategic vision for digital transformation.

The team is accountable for the full application lifecycle, including standards and methodologies, implementation, integration, and reporting services. In partnership with County staff, partner organizations, and constituents, our team drives process improvement, data stewardship, and digital innovation.

The Application Services Division is composed of three units:

  • Microsoft Business Solutions – Focused on enterprise solutions, including Microsoft 365, Dynamics, Power Platform, and other tools that enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • Specialized Business Solutions – Delivers and supports tailored applications that address the unique needs of departments and programs across the County.
  • Architecture – Provides leadership in application architecture and business transformation, helps establish and execute IT governance processes, and provides oversight and quality assurance of strategic initiatives.
