In observance of the New Year, all Douglas County offices will be closed for on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, for normal business. Many County services are available 24/7 by visiting online services.
Douglas County Health Department works to prevent foodborne illness by investigating reports of individual illnesses and conducting surveillance to identify outbreaks.
