In observance of the New Year, all Douglas County offices will be closed for on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, for normal business. Many County services are available 24/7 by visiting online services.

All OWTS designers, soil evaluators, installers, inspectors, operation and maintenance providers, and pumpers are required to take the National Association of Wastewater Technicians (NAWT) training course for their discipline.
