In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, all Douglas County Government offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 21, for normal business. Many County services are available 24/7 by visiting online services.
Requests are for ROW Use and/or Construction Permits ONLY. Sunday work can be performed for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., however inspections will ONLY be scheduled between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Requests for Sunday work must be received no later than 4 p.m. Monday, the non-refundable payment is required by 5 p.m. on Monday, no exceptions.
Requests will not be available for the following weekends in 2023: September 3, November 12, November 16, December 24 and 31.
Sunday inspection fees are $300 minimum plus $150 per hour after the first two hours.
Please note that the completion of the form below is a request only, and must be approved before you have permission for Sunday work. Upon receipt of approval from the Douglas County Public Works – Engineering Division, you will need to call 303-660-7487 by 3:30 p.m. on Friday to confirm that the project is on the schedule and work is to be performed on the date specified. Specific timed inspections for the placement of concrete and asphalt will need to be scheduled at that time.
