In observance of the New Year, all Douglas County offices will be closed for on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, for normal business. Many County services are available 24/7 by visiting online services.
Under Construction
Douglas County will begin conducting maintenance on storm sewer located in front of the Highlands Ranch Northridge Recreation Center off of Broadway between January 5, 2026, to January 12, 2026. Northbound (NB) Broadway will be reduced to two (2) lanes; the outside lane and the bike lane will be closed in this area causing the bike lane along this road section to merge with traffic along with the sidewalk east from the Northridge Recreation Center to Northridge Road. During this same time, the bike lanes on Northridge Road in both directions will be closed, and the cyclists will be required to merge with traffic from Broadway to Jack Rabbit Place.
