Project Update

Update October 4, 2022: Currently our equipment is down until further notice. We will keep this webpage updated as more information becomes available.

October 3 – October 6, 2022: Surface treatment is scheduled on Lucas Avenue and E. Cherry Creek. Intermittent lane closures between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Gravel Road surface treatment will be completed for the year, after the locations above are finished, and will resume in May 2023.

COMPLETED – Twin Oaks Drive, Christy Ridge Road, Mountain View Drive, Winnebago Drive, Piute Drive, Favor Drive, Peakview Drive, Coronado Drive, Greenland Road, Dalberg Road, Best Road, Furrow Road, Lorraine Road, Spring Valley Road, Jones Road, and Smith Road.

Description

Gravel roads projects include tilling soil stabilization materials into the first three inches of the road to help stabilization the road surface. This process increases road durability and extends the life of aggregate surface material to help control dust. The treatment on the road surface extends the surface life for about one year, depending on traffic volume and weather conditions.
