Paving is scheduled to begin the week of August 26, 2025.  Grading and other prep work will occur in advance of the start of paving.

Description

Douglas County’s 2025 street paving program includes Valley Park Boulevard.

Work will be completed in phases – the first phase consists of preparing the road for paving, including grading, stabilization, and culvert inspection and repair. This prep work will be performed by Public Works Operations crews. The second phase consists of paving the main roadway by the County’s Asphalt Overlay Contractor. The final phase includes shouldering and driveway tie-ins, performed by Public Works Operations crews.

Variable messages signs will be used to notify residents of upcoming work.

Two days before the start of work, no-parking signs may be posted along the streets scheduled for work.

Schedule

Construction will occur Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
