Our goal for all new traffic signals and traffic signal modifications is to improve safety and efficiency for all users.  Every new traffic signal must meet strict standards and specifications, and staff ensures rigorous testing prior to operating any new traffic signal.

  • Traffic signals within the unincorporated areas of the County are owned and operated by the County.
  • Traffic signals within the incorporated areas (Cities and Towns) within Douglas County are owned and operated by those specific Cities and Towns (for example, Town of Parker or City of Lone Tree).
