Joint Sealing

Douglas County takes COVID-19 seriously and will ensure our contractors follow appropriate health and safety practices as recommended by the Association of General Contractors (AGC) and Colorado Contractors Association (CCA)

Project Overview
Joint sealing is the maintenance operation performed to protect and prolong the life of concrete roads. Material is placed in between the concrete expansion joints to stop the infiltration of water into the subbase, which can cause the road to deteriorate.    These repairs will result in a safer and smoother ride quality for motorists and help preserve the existing road surface.
