Homelessness is down in Douglas County, and people like you are the reason.

Learn more about the countywide partnership that reduced homelessness in Douglas County during a Live Town Hall from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27. This is also your opportunity to ask questions.

How to Join the Live Town Hall

The Douglas County Homeless Initiative began in 2022 with the goal of addressing homelessness in Douglas County with compassion by partnering with others, including municipalities, non-profits, law enforcement agencies, faith leaders, mental health experts, the school district, and individual residents.

The Homeless Initiative has since launched the HEART co-response team, Douglas Has Heart giving campaign and provided resources to businesses. During this Live Town Hall, you will meet HEART navigators and others who have been working with those experiencing homelessness.
