Capacity

Depending upon layout, Kirk Hall can comfortably seat 200 people. Capacity is determined by layout and is provided by the Fire Department.

Amenities

In Kirk Hall, the rental agreement includes:

  • Tables and chairs to seat approximately 200 people. Tables are 6′ rectangle banquet style.
  • Mic, Sound System, Screen & free Wi-fi
  • Podium and Coat Rack
  • Full-Service kitchen with stove, ice machine, microwave, refrigerators and freezers.
  • 1200 sq. ft. outdoor, covered patio with picnic tables
  • Ample Parking, on-site restrooms and climate controlled facility

What does 'self-service' facility mean?

At Kirk Hall is a self-serve facility, event holder responsibilities include:

  • Set-up and tear down of chairs & tables
  • Providing table clothes, plates, drink wear, silverware, extension cords, tape, etc. The fairgrounds does not provide event supplies.
  • Cleaning. Event Holder is responsible for returning space to pre-event conditions, including cleaning the bathrooms, kitchen and event hall. (cleaning supplies are available on-site). For an additional fee, cleaning services can be provided by a outside contractor – ask for pricing.
  • Decoration placement will need to be pre-approved by Fairgrounds staff – 30-days prior to event.
  • Securing liability insurance that covers the event and Douglas County.
  • All permits and certificates required for events in Douglas County.

Cost to Rent

Standard Rate: $400 (This rate applies to any private or for-profit individual, organization, company, or entity.)

Adjusted Rate: $300 + surcharges (This rate applies to any events that charge facility admission, charge a participant fee, have
ticket sales, or vendor booth fees. These Events are charged a reduced base rental rate plus applicable surcharges.)

Non-Profit Rate: $200 + surcharges (This rate applies to any registered non-profit 501©(3) in good standing or government agencies using a facility. These events are charged a reduced base rental rate, in addition to applicable surcharges.

Security Deposit: $200 (All events are required to pay a deposit)
