In observance of the New Year, all Douglas County offices will be closed for on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, for normal business. Many County services are available 24/7 by visiting online services.
To protect the health of children and staff, child care facilities are required by regulation to have illness policies. Facilities are also required to track illness in children and staff in an illness log, and they must report outbreaks.
