April 23, 2024 – Seasonal Recreation Update
Rueter-Hess Reservoir will be opening to water recreation on Friday April 26, 2024!
All watercraft will be subject to ANS inspections and should be clean and dry.

Nestled in the sandstone-rimmed bluffs and Gamble Oak valleys of northeastern Douglas County, Rueter-Hess Reservoir beckons history buffs, day hikers, dog walkers, water-sport enthusiasts, and local anthropologists alike.
With that in mind, we recommend booking in advance and signing up for email updates.

No reservations are required.
