In addition to paying your respects to the men and women who sacrificed for our country, consider finding some time for quiet reflection at one of Douglas County’s many open space properties, parks and trails, or at one of the three state parks in the County.

Discover Decode Douglas County Outdoors for fresh-air fun with friends or family and let the adventure begin. Explore the many Douglas County parks, trails and Open Space properties, this Memorial Day, or consider taking a hike at Roxborough State Park, having a family outing at Chatfield State Park, watching the sunset at Castlewood Canyon State Park or take Fido to a local dog park.
