The Board of Douglas County Commissioners has called for a Special Election to ask voters whether to form a Home Rule Charter Commission and to select 21 Home Rule Charter Commission Members. The Douglas County Office of Clerk and Recorder is responsible for the statutory conduct of the June 24, 2025, Special Election. Ballots will be mailed to all eligible voters in Douglas County beginning on Monday, June 2.
