Are you planning to vote in the upcoming Presidential Primary Election? Ballots for the March 5, 2024, Election will be mailed to Democratic, Republican, and unaffiliated registered voters in Colorado beginning on Feb. 12, 2024.
Feb. 12 is also the last day for voters who are affiliated with a political party to change or withdraw their affiliation if they wish to vote in a different party’s Presidential Primary Election. Visit Colorado’s secure, statewide voter registration database, GoVoteColorado.gov, to register to vote, check your voter registration status, select your political affiliation, or update your mailing address.
DID YOU KNOW?
- Registered Democrats will receive the Democratic Presidential Primary ballot.
- Registered Republicans will receive the Republican Presidential Primary ballot.
- Unaffiliated voters will receive two ballots, one Democratic and one Republican.
- Unaffiliated electors must vote and return ONLY ONE ballot and securely dispose of the ballot they do not use. If multiple voted ballots are returned in the same envelope, none of the ballots will count.
- The only contest on each party’s Presidential Primary ballot will be for the office of President of the United States. Visit the What’s on My Ballot page on DouglasVotes.com to view a sample ballot for both parties.
- Voters registered with a minor party will not receive a ballot because no minor parties are holding a Presidential Primary Election.
