Project Update

As of August 2021, the County executed an IGA with CDOT regarding funding for final design and ROW acquisition, which includes $1,050,000 in federal funds made available for this project through the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Subregional Project Selection Process; and Douglas County has agreed to contribute $1 million while CDOT is contributing about $2.6 million.

The County is partnering with CDOT to advance the final design and ROW acquisition associated with reconstructing and widening US 85 to four lanes from Sedalia (SH 67) to Daniels Park Road. However, CDOT has not identified funding for constructing this segment in their current 4-year pipeline list of priority projects.

Schedule not available yet.
