Historic Preservation Board

Historic Preservation Board (HPB) members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners by District.  Members conduct research on historic resources in the County; advises property owners on methods for preserving sites and artifacts; make recommendations to the Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners regarding zoning and subdivision issues related to historic resources; facilitates the collection, cataloging, preservation and interpretation of donated historic artifacts; and works to educate County residents on historic matters.  For additional information please contact Brittany Cassell at 303-660-7460.

Meeting Schedule

The HPB meets the first Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m., at the Philip S. Miller Building in Castle Rock.  Meeting dates and agendas are available by clicking here and selecting the Historic Preservation Board from the Meeting Group in the top left corner.
