Current and Upcoming Business Meetings/ Land Use Meetings / Public Hearings

Business Meetings, Land Use Meetings and Public Hearings are live streamed for your convenience and are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 1:30 and 2:30 respectively in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Third Street in Castle Rock. View the 2020 Business Meeting / Land Use Meeting / Public Hearing Schedule here. Special Public Hearings may be scheduled at different times as needed. The Douglas County Board of County Commissioners also holds regular weekly Work Sessions to further its work on Policies and its Job Products. These Work Sessions (except for Executive Sessions) are open to the public. The times of these noticed meetings may be altered, canceled or rescheduled.

The County Commissioners also act as the  Liquor License Authority for unincorporated areas of Douglas County.  The County does not have jurisdiction over liquor licenses within incorporated towns or cities, including Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Parker, Larkspur and Lone Tree.  After local review and approval, the applications are forwarded to the State of Colorado Department of Revenue for approval.
