To make a payment online, use the Property Tax Inquiry to search for your parcel detail information. If a balance is due an online payment box will be on the top left side of the screen. Please be aware that the Treasurer’s Office will consider your account paid only upon acceptance by the financial institution. Credit card payments will incur a 2.19% fee*. E-checks are free of charge.
To make a payment by telephone call 303-532-3219 or toll-free 844-236-3042. You will be directed to an automated voice payment system. Your payment information will need to be input using your telephone dial pad. Credit card payments will incur a 2.19% fee. E-checks are free of charge.
Credit card payments are accepted in person at the Treasurer’s Office, 100 Third Street in Castle Rock.
Note: When paying taxes online, the transaction will not be considered complete until you have obtained a payment confirmation number.

In addition to the payment amount, each credit card transaction is subject to a service fee that is collected by a third-party vendor to cover processing costs and are not retained by Douglas County. This service fee is non-refundable in the event of overpayment or refund of any part of the property tax.
You will have the opportunity to review all applicable fees prior to finalizing your transaction. Credit card payments are an alternative to traditional types of payments and are considered voluntary.
